About us

Tailor Made Designs is an independent timber engineering company focusing on the design, manufacture and delivery of roof trusses, attic trusses, Posi-Joists & glulam beams. Founded in 2007 from a grain shed in North Herefordshire, the business has been run by the same family since inception and now sports a custom-made facility complete with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, allowing us to deliver 99% of jobs in just 5-10 working days. 

Although we've modernised our manufacturing processes, we still do some things the traditional way. You can pick up the phone and speak directly to your dedicated designer before, during and after your project. We are always on hand to help, and it's important to us that your project is a success.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. I have only just finalised my order with them but have been so impressed with them that I wanted to review them immediately. Their customer service is exceptional. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had a delay in ordering and so needed quite a tight turnaround. Tailor Made Designs made it happen - without this I would have lost the carpenter and potentially the bricklayer as we have had previous issues with our build that have delayed things. Email correspondence was replied to very quickly (by which I mean within an hour or two) and were a good balance between friendly and professional. I spoke to three different people on the phone who were all polite, friendly and very helpful. Thank you Tailor Made Designs.
