What is a trimmable end?

On our website, you may have noticed that you can add a 'trimmable end' to your joist. In simple terms, this means you can trim up to 130mm off the end of your joist (or both ends, if required) to give you added flexibility on site when you've got wonky walls (we're looking at you, old farmhouses). On online orders, this is just £1 per end, per joist.
